TEETH WHITENING

TEETH WHITENING IN PUEBLO, CO
Pueblo West Neighborhood Dental and Implants Can Give You Whiter Teeth in Just
One Visit.
Your smile is something everyone notices. So it’s also noticeable if you don’t smile. One of my first patients in private practice in New Mexico told me that he was being passed up for promotions at work because of his broken and decayed smile. It’s a moment I remember vividly even ten years later.

So, if you’re hiding your smile because you’re self-conscious about the appearance or color of your teeth, my team can help. Using the latest in dental technology, we can amp that smile up by at least two shades to get it to its beaming best.

Dental tooth bleaching or teeth whitening is a simple process that lightens the color of the surface of the tooth and can remove staining. This non-invasive treatment is a great way to improve your confidence and encourages a healthier oral care routine.

Find out more about why it’s better to go to your dentist for teeth whitening services

Yes, there are plenty of over-the-counter treatments you can buy for whitening your teeth at home, and many of those products can achieve excellent results. However, Dr. Ross has access to the latest dental technology and materials, meaning that a professional tooth whitening treatment his team may be more effective and last longer.

The process of getting your teeth whitened or bleached does not hurt. Some patients may have temporary sensitivity after the whitening process but this also depends on existing levels of tooth sensitivity.

It depends on a few different factors. To keep your teeth looking bright, make sure you brush at least twice daily and floss every day. Avoid food and drinks that can stain teeth, such as coffee and red wine. For some patients, the whitening will last for around 6 months but for others it can last for 2 to 3 years. If you feel that your teeth are looking discolored again, it’s a process that can be repeated.

When carried out by the team at PWNDI, teeth bleaching or whitening is perfectly safe and does not damage your teeth or your tooth’s enamel.

For most adults, this is a simple process, however, there are a few cases in which getting your teeth professionally whitened by us may not be possible such as:
  • If you have tooth decay
  • If you have gum disease
  • If you have extremely sensitive teeth
  • If you have crowns, veneers or implants – these cannot be lightened.
