Public Health & Executive Orders Amended Public Health Order 20-29
Pueblo West Neighborhood Dental is excited to announce that under Amended Public Health Order 20-29 we are now able to see voluntary, elective services and non-emergency appointments!!
Even though we will be open, strict safety guidelines and procedures must be followed to help protect you and our staff.
Please carefully follow all verbal instructions from our staff, the posted signs as you come in our door, and additionally whatever you might feel as necessary for your own personal situation.
We have devised our guidelines and procedures to the best of our professional judgment. However, even the best precautions cannot completely eliminate the risk of disease.

You should understand and accept that when you seek treatment at our facility.

A few of the practices included in our safety procedures will be a continuation of social distancing, strict and proper hygiene procedures, and using face coverings, masks, gloves, and other PPE.

As an Example, among other precautions and not limited to this list, are: All CDC, CDPHE, Executive Orders and OSHA standard precautions will be strictly adhered to.
  1. Team Members screened and tested for fever at the beginning of their shift

  2. Any team member showing symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, muscle aches (myalgia), and chills) will be sent home immediately, employees will be allowed back to work when no longer symptomatic.

  3. Patients will be screened and tested for fever at the beginning of their appointment.

  4. Patients answering YES to screening or that have SYMPTOMS will be asked to reschedule at a later date.

  5. Patients will be screened BEFORE they arrive for their appointments when possible.

  6. We will require all patients/visitors wear a face mask and practice social distancing when possible while at our office.

  7. Only patients will be seen in the office. Patients guests will not be allowed in the office with the exception of parents of minors and caregivers. Whenever possible the parents and caregivers will be asked to wait in their cars.

  8. After checking in, patients are welcome in the lobby as long as they: wear a face mask, practice social distancing, and are comfortable being in the lobby.

  9. After checking in, if you are uncomfortable being in the lobby you are welcome to wait outside or in your car and we will call / text when ready to bring you back.

  10. Additional time will be scheduled for each appointment to ensure staff has adequate time to change PPE and ensure rooms/equipment can be cleaned and disinfected properly between each patient.

In addition to all other CDC, CDPHE, Executive Orders and OSHA regulations and recommendations for cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing, we will also be cleaning all door handles, counters, and heavily used surfaces frequently.
The coronavirus has made life difficult for everyone. Please be patient. Given the rapidly changing environment we’re in, we may need to immediately alter guidelines, refuse treatment, close our practice, or take other actions.
