Dr. Taylor Ross

After graduating from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2013, Dr. Ross completed his residency at the prestigious University of Colorado Hospital, General Practice Residency in 2014. There, he received advanced training in hospital-based dentistry, sedation, and advanced surgical procedures including implants, wisdom teeth removal, and dental prosthetics.

Dr. Ross loves to learn about the cutting edge nature of dental technology, including CAD-CAM milling and 3d printing. You’ll often see his car with his CU sticker late at night 3d designing crowns, veneers, implants, and dentures … lab work that most dentists will send out resulting in long delays and variable quality.

When he’s not at the office, you’ll find him playing golf at Desert Hawk and around the state in competitive amateur golf tournaments. Dr. Ross’ wife is a General Surgeon at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Colorado. She specifically likes surgery involving the intestines and well, the butt. As to why she likes those areas, Dr. Ross simply shakes his head 🙂

Dr. Ross has held teaching positions at Dona Ana Community College Dental Hygiene Program, associated with New Mexico State University, as well as the University of Colorado General Dental Practice Residency. Currently, CU has asked that he teach at the School of Dental Medicine Emergency Clinic starting in 2023.

He donates regularly to the Pueblo Community College Foundation, the University of Colorado, and the Desert Hawk Men’s Club. Coming up, he will be sponsoring a merit-based scholarship for the 2023 Spring semester at the PCC Dental Hygiene Program.
